Only read this book if you want your business to GROW!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Miriam through the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP), a professional business league for holistically trained nutrition professionals and students. In 2007 the NANP surveyed its professional members on their ability to earn a living in our industry. The results were dismal; with only 10% able to make a satisfactory living, and many of those working multiple jobs to do so. The results of this survey helped us focus our attention on putting nutrition professionals to work, and making that our number one priority. At that time our association had been stagnant itself, with little or no growth for several years. As Vice President of our association, Miriam has been an integral part of teaching me and my team how to break away from the immobile perspectives of the past, and move us into a new and dynamic, purpose-filled marketing shift. With her help, our membership has doubled over the past 2 years and continues to grow rapidly. This book is perfect for any practitioner who truly wants to grow their business in order to help and heal, and for any business owner who is ready to embrace phenomenal growth.

My wife gave me a copy of Miriam Zacharias's book. "Please read this and give me your opinion." Our marketing, after a 15 year run, was faltering, but, reading a book titled "The PEACE Process" gave me hesitation. I figured it was another squishy, hippie attempt to break into publishing after failing at alternative healthcare. How many of those books have we all read? I was wrong, Miriam was high up in the food chain of business prior to her moving into the integrative and functional healthcare world. She brings this business knowledge into the alternative healthcare profession, that was not taught anything about business in school. It's back to school, get your working hat on, she knows her business and ours, and wants us to succeed.

Find Peace in your practice sooner!

As an Integrative physician who has through trial and error created a very successful practice model, I can only say I *WISH* I could have had access to this book earlier! It would have shaved years off of my learning curve, saving me both time, money and frustration!! The PEACE process gives a step-by-step framework to build a successful holistic practice. This book is a must read for anyone wanting to succeed in our 'well-care' industry.

Repetitive organization makes this book a bit dull

I'm an inexperienced personal coach, so I was interested in this book.

At first, I liked the punchy style, but ultimately I found it repetitive.

I highly recommend sampling the book before buying it. If you like the style in the sample, then buy the book. Otherwise, keep looking.

The 50 top tools are not spelled out as clear as I would like.

This is a quite specialised book for a specialist audience, yet even the more curious generalist could get something out of it if they try. This book is effectively a secret look into the toolkit of a coach, giving 50 top tools that can help transform a coaching situation.

The authors set out to provide the reader with the right mix of techniques, preparative aids and analytics assistance to really provide a powerful “coaching experience” for clients. If you don’t know what you are doing then either you are a coach who needs a lot more practical help and education or a general reader; here this book might be a bit too overwhelming but perseverance and a positive attitude can pay off. For those who are more experienced in the art of coaching, it might be a little goldmine.

That’s it really. Short and sweet. It seems to do what it says on the tin and then some more. It can either deliver major renovation assistance to your coaching skillset or just let you further polish an already polished operation. Either way, what do you have to fear?

Un livre indispensable

This book is one of the best about billiard. I'm a french reader but everything is easily understandable, thanks to the many drawings and shemes.
Moreover, theories of induced throw, english, rail and bank shots, and strategy are explained by examples and empirical method, showing us a new understanding of pool algorithms.
I'm glad having now this book but i woud have discovered it years ago, when i was starting pool.
Thanks to the author for this amazing synthesis and knowledge.

Without a doubt my pool game is MUCH better since reading this book. I must admit I had to read some of the information five or six times before it sank into my head and I could retain the information in a way that I could use when playing. I love to play 8 Ball Pool by Miniclip and this book has allowed my to get my average win ratio above the 58% mark. I am still learning and practicing, and refer back to this book several times a week. I highly recommend this book. Yes, it takes a whole lot of concentration and effort to learn, but I think anyone with an average amount of intelligence will be able to improve their pool game significantly. You don't have to be an engineer to read this book! It has tons of well explained examples, but you absolutely must put some effort into understanding and using the information.

Pocket Billiards From a Different Angle

As other reviewers indicated this book approaches pocket billiards from a scientific perspective which to me is good. There are many detailed graphs and tables which certainly no one is expected to memorize. However, these aids give you a good visual feel for what to expect as the many variable of the game come into play. One area that this book covers in detail is collision-induced throw which comes into play with every shot that has ball english on it. Graphs show the throw angle under all different kinds of conditions. This book covers all aspects of the game and has brought out some shooting techniques that I did not find in other sources. However, like any subject one should not limit their learning materials to a single source as there are several good books that covers this subject. But do add this book to your collection as it is complete, detailed, and has great graphical representations of what is being described in the text.
